If you smell gas please contact the National Gas Emergency Service 24 hours a day on 0800 111 999.

If you rent a fully managed property please contact the Residential Management Team on 01279 635685 option 3 (available Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm) who will coordinate emergency repairs on your behalf.  If you rent a non managed property please contact your landlord on the telephone numbers supplied.

Please note the Residential Lettings Team are available to assist with emergency repairs on Saturdays between 9am and 4pm. Please contact the Residential Lettings Team on 01279 635685 option 1.

 

Out of hours emergency procedures

 

As a tenant you are entitled to an out of hours emergency repair budget of £100 to spend on behalf of your landlord. In the case of a genuine out of hours emergency please contact our recommended contractors directly and provide them with your address and details of your emergency. They may attend or guide through processes over the telephone to make your property safe and prevent further damage. Please contact the Residential Management Team at your earliest convenience on the next working day to arrange a full repair.

Examples of an out of hours emergency:

  • Serious electrical fault
  • Serious leak or burst water pipe
  • Repair to front door/lock after break in
  • Boiler breakdown in winter

We will keep you updated with any change of office opening hours over seasonal periods.
